My wife and I are from Pompano Beach, Fl. and we lived on a canal. I think what I would miss the most is the salt water fishing and shrimpin. Nothing like something fresh you just caught yourself. Love it here much better.... and the friendly people. We made the right move. Now all my family lives here{mother,father,and sister} and my wifes mother lives next door.
