The film clip that is being discussed, the one that shows President Obama talking about his religion is interesting to me in that it is apparently, or perhaps meant to look,extemporaneous, off the cuff. His hesitancy in answering the questions is different than his usual uninterrupted vocal cadence. If I had just met him, I would think he was very uncomfortable with the subject of religion. I would wonder if that meant, he did not have strong religious views, knew it was a political hot subject or was trying to say "the right thing", or what he hoped people would expect to hear.

Politics is a messy business, in that you must present yourself in the way the "buyer" wants a person to be.

I found it unusual that the film clip filmed him from the side too.
