any angle that promotes their perspective (not intended as a criticism...just a general fact). They may have been trying to show the angle that included the most people....as one guess.

PS as an aside, in this mornings paper there was a political cartoon showing a dem image with a comment something like...."at this point I will say or do anything to not get thrown out of office"....a truism for either or any elected official.
