This is a German language movie-- but with various other languages thrown in-- about a German national who helped save over 200,000 Chinese during the Rape of Nanking by the Japanese in late 1937.

Has a lot of action and drama and some very good performances including one by Steve Buscemi as a doctor trying to save the wounded civilians from the "Nanking Massacre."

It won Best Picture and Best Actor at the German Film Awards.
