Agree with Gracie - and some Villages are bigger than others. I also think a lot of people wait until fall when the snowbirds come back to list their properties.

You know what they say about the average Villager moving 3 times - Village of Hadley is about the right age for people to be deciding they want to move up or down in size or type of home.

I think this (average Villager) is on the high side - I don't think 50% (or however they define "average") of Villagers move, perhaps it's a myth perpetuated by the real estate agents to keep 'em moving. I think the turnover is a lot lower than "average," but I could be wrong.

Lots of people do move within the Villages, but just based on what I've seen in my neighborhood it would seem like a lower # to me. If there are statistics I bet they're including those who end up moving back north or wherever their children are once they are widowed or in poor health, or those that have entered assisted living or you know what.
