A new Gallup Poll reveals that 46% of Americans now feel the Federal Government poses an immediate threat to the Rights and Freedoms of U.S. citizens. This is an increase of 16% in the last 7 years.

The number of Americans who feel the Federal Government has too much power has risen from 39% to 59% since 2002.

Republicans were more likely to say they believe the Government poses n immediate threat to their rights with 66% answering in the affirmative to a 21% affirmative response by Democrats; with 49% in agreement who classify themselves Independents.
