My two cents:
I am fortunate that I don't need many doctors (yet). However, those with whom I have had contact have impressed me no end.
Even more impressive, and exciting, I think, is the fact that almost universally, Villagers with whom I have reasonably regular contact, have never, repeat never, given me a negative report about local physicians or facilities.
I came from St. Louis, where both Washington and Saint Louis Universities operate teaching hospitals. Overall, this translates to superior medical care.
But, please be assured that my diagnosis, treatment and overall care here in The Villages matches, and, in fact in many instances, beats anything I ran across in the deeply professional environment as there was in St. Louis.
