Point is, despite the media giving up all these seats to Republicans, I do not see it happening quite that way.

First of all, the "tea party" movement which is the same as the "progressive" movement in that it is not a party, simply a general slate of beliefs has not established much in the way of actual plans that has to be done.

Secondly, the main reason, despite the announcements of mandates, that Obama is in the WH is that so many voters did not come out....we will see what kind of turnout occurs in a couple weeks.

Gotta say...I am not a "tea bag" guy although I certainly espouse much of what they say and believe...this election, more than anytime before, for me is about someway reigning in this WH and this congressional leadership. They have done this country such an injustice in the last 20 months or so. I do not even blame all the congress folks in Washington...I really think that they have literally been bullied by the WH and the leadership.
