I remember that post, several years ago, because I used to live in Ashland, and yes there were rats at the pool, and they had to send in an exterminator to get rid of them! It was the talk of our neighborhood. Just because you have not experienced them anywhere else does not mean it hasn't happened - it certainly isn't something The Villages is going to broadcast. And if I recall, it took a $40 million lawsuit to get the Developer to care about maintenance of recreational facilities north of 466.
The person who posted that was one of my neighbors, and she really took a beating from TOTV'ers for just telling the truth. She no longer participates on TOTV.
