As Ooper said, the GPS is going to be spot-on accurate. I've checked our various cars' speedometer readings with one. Some of them are waaaay off!!

GPS Speedometer question: I assume it is distance traveled/time? In other words it's not distance between two points (straight line) divided by time? Obviously nothing in tv is distance straight line with all those tunnels and curvy paths.
Does anyone know how it's calculated?
