Yes, eating for the good and longevity of the body and planet is usually advice that stays 'in the building' or among the choir.

the Villages will probably get pelted by a foot of snow before the masses adopt a predominantly plant-based diet with fresh, locally-grown nutritious foodstuffs.

It's going to be nearly impossible with billions being poured into marketing and lobbying that favors fake food, and the creation of desire for sugar, fat, and other tastes.

good food can taste good. we can learn what's good for us, prepare it or find it prepared to suit a taste. The taste can be acquired and developed.

"Fat Free, Flavor Full' was one of our favorite books. Dr Gabe and Diana Mirkin put together recipes that satisfy the palate and keep the body in check for health.
they recommend spices that can help fool the body into thinking the food is sweeter and more full of fat than it is.

What we did notice is that we just felt better, felt younger, moved better, and had more energy.

We ate more simply, and on a much lower budget.

the best part was, we didn't have to buy into anyone's 'plan' , or order their special 'packaged meals' or take their supplements.....

And a good diet crosses age, political, and even baseball-team-fan barriers
