It is interesting to see that this diet is probably very similar to the diet our parents or grandparents ate during the depression. Grains and vegetables were in much greater abundance than meat unless you lived on a farm.
Also of note is a study published in JAMA today that says that most vitamin supplements do not improve your health as much as a healthy diet.
