If you are in a golf cart that is going over 20 mph and it does not meet the legal requirement to be classified as an LSV you are driving an illegal vehicle. Now that you have that information you can decide to continue to break the law or meet the requirements to be an LSV or have the cart adjusted so the top speed does not exceed 20mph.
