Well Gracie, many times in the past 30 years I wished I lived in the middle of this great country instead of the Northeast. The politics in our public schools is terrible.
I remember this class I had in the 4th or 5th grade. We had this older lady who played the piano and us kids would sing. She played inspirational songs like "Onward Christian Soldier" She was so animated and bubbly when she played that it was contagious to us kids.

Try playing one of those songs in New England today and sadly, they would fire the teacher.
