Oh...let me get this straight. The red octagon sign that has S.T.O.P. on it doesn't mean stop? It means you can either just go thru it or kind of stop and roll thru it depending on how you are feeling? Also Y.I.E.L.D.---that doesn't mean a "hill of beans" neither...just keep on going no matter what?!
I was taught in driver's education that there are laws and they are there for a reason---public safety. I know I'm being a bit of a smart aleck here but really people...the police are here for a good reason and so are the laws. I love The Villages life-style and all that is here for us to do and enjoy. It's a privilege for us to be here for sure and a great blessing besides. I would love it to be even known for it's safe drivers (cars AND carts)...I've seen far too many near misses to know we don't yet have that reputation.
