Just goes to show, I think, how things and products can differ.
Not a single one of my GE appliances, all installed in January 2005, has given me the slightest problem. True, I'm keeping a careful eye on a potential rust-out in my dishwasher (on average used only once a week), but everything else appears just fine!
This forum has many complaints about GE. I suspect that, had Whirlpool or "SeniorProducts" (fictitious name) been the Developer's product of choice over the last few years, folks would be finding fault with them!
Until my GE stuff really gives up the ghost, I'm perfectly content!
