I like dogs...but that being said people should be responsible pet-owners. When we lived "up north" our house was on a busy street which also meant alot of people walking their dogs. We used to get their droppings quite often in our yard. One time I even caught a guy letting his dog pee on the flowers. I got a "dirty" look when I told him we didn't appreciate that. (probably lucky that was ALL I got). Another time I was chatting with a neighbor down the street. I would see her out walking the dog in ALL kinds of inclement weather several times a day and said something like, "You really are tenacious about your exercise!" She said, "oh, it's not that, Bowser won't go to the bathroom in our yard so we HAVE to walk him!" So---for them it was o.k. their animal pottied in everyone else's yards!!!!!
If it bothers you...I'd do what others said here. IF you do talk to them tell them that T.V. has a pretty strict policy re: pets and you wanted to let them know before the Neighborhood watch did, to save them face. I wouldn't do it in a confrontative way because they just might not realize what's happening. If it continues THEN go the next step of calling T.V.
