Eyegirl: You are correct that your golf cart does not have to be plated or registered to use the golf cart lanes, multi-modal paths and golf course paths.

I have seen several posts on TOTV where insurance premiums for straight golf carts cost around $100/yr and even less depending upon the coverage and the insurance provider.

You can get get almost everywhere within TV on golf carts.
