The biggest issue for me for these 'alternative' care programs is their care provider list does not include our family doctor and and does not have any of our specialists like cardiologist, urologist and oncologist....hence we stay with classic medicare and AARP supplement and Humana part D for Rx.
I am gong to one of the Preferred Care seminars to learn more. But if the provider coverage excludes our current list my interest will be minimal.

You sound just like us. I also had breast cancer (8 years ago) and continue to be seen once a year at Moffitt. We've very happy with our supplemental. Although, I am staying with the supplemental (have eye surgery scheduled for Jan), my husband is considering changing to Preferred Care Partners Gold. That will put us both on different insurance programs. Will be anxious to see what you think of it after the seminar.
