This is a very confusing process when having to deal with for the first tiime. Going to this independent organization is what would be best for you as only you can decide what plan meets your needs.
For someone in great health, the AARP Medical Complete that has prescription drugs included is one type of choice for those who only need preventive medical needs.
Another choice is to get a supplemental plan that would cover hospitalizations better but you would need to get part D to cover prescriptions.
Make sure the plan you choose has the doctors you want to see.
It's not only about the cost invovled but piece of mind.
