Ok, for the umpteenth time...

I defended Bush rather vigorously against ridiculous accusations from 'the left' (and the loonies).

I was, however, outraged at Bush for not following through on his threat to fire whomever would be fingered as being the one who outed Valerie Plame. That's a specific case of putting someone in danger. Not only did he NOT fire the guy who turned out to be responsible, he was almost pressured into pardoning him! (Credit to him that he didn't, though). Partisan ethics again.

One of my hot buttons is double-standards.

Remember the Pentagon Papers? The people who leaked THAT information (about our government lying to us) were hailed as heroes.
