I don't think you'd be able to switch on a new build.

But if you hare talking about after the villa is built (or buying a pre-owned) then I think you could do it.

You'll have to check out how the door (or both doors depending on which type of door you get) will open inward. Is there really enough room or will the door hit the furniture that is there (probably a small kitchen table if you look at many of the designs).

If you can do it the cost will be the cost of the door plus approx $300 for install. At least that is based on install costs up here in MA. I did it here in my house in MA with a door that only one side opens inward and the other side is fixed. The screen is the same type of screen that was on the slider and came with the new Door. The door was the same dimensions as the slider. Not sure what happens if you're talking about a true French door where both sides open inward from the center.
