Boomer, unfortunately we haven't abandoned gloves here completely. We had a few freezing nights lately and very cool days. The golf courses were empty for a couple of days. I wore my down-filled jacket and gloves to the dog park on those days. But I digress.

I haven't heard of gloves you wear while texting, but of course, it makes sense. Texting is an epidemic these days. Someone took a simple idea and will be a millionaire.

I have this fantasy that I'll be the one to think of the next big "must have". The ideas are all so obvious and simple. For years I wore a bathrobe backwards when I wanted to curl up with a good book and be snuggly and warm. And my husband laughed at me.

Now someone invented snugglies, and everyone has to have at least one. Bah Humbug.

Lisa, I never heard of anyone who hated Halloween! That is so interesting .. everyone is unique. As an adult, I find there is a certain freedom to Halloween. Dressing up and pretending to be someone else is kind of cool.

It is the present thing about Christmas that I don't like. People seem to spend all their time before Christmas buying gifts. And complaining about how much money they're spending. And the recipients seem to spend all their time after Christmas returning the gifts or trying to give them away. Christmas is great if you have young kids around though, they really enjoy Christmas.
