I am impressed that anyone can keep (without losing) gloves (or umbrellas) for years and years. I haven't worn any (except golf gloves) here in the Villages yet, and probably never will - used them in Ohio only for walking the dog and until the car warmed up on my way to and from work.
That is not because I don't need them (is this why my hands are always dry? - I just attributed that to getting older), but because I can either never find them or have already lost them (or one of them). I tend to put them in a pocket and apparently lose one on it's way out or something. I don't wash the cloth ones (never owned them long enough to need it), so it can't be the same as the one sock syndrome
