Speaking of IRA accounts, I am not waiting until I reach 70.5 years of age to withdraw my funds. With so much going around about the
possibility of the government taking over our deferred savings to reduce deficits or satisfy their uncontrollable thirst to spend, I just recently started a systematic withdrawal from my account designed to zero out the account is about 4-5 years. The only reason I spread it out over the years is to amortize the taxation on the funds withdrawn.
