We had Comcast activate 3 tv outlets with one DVR, internet, and telephone. It cost us $128.85. When we move down full time I will switch to Directv like we have up north and keep the internet. You'll get the local channels that cable provide except for the TV channel, but you can get that on line. From what little research I've done, I'll probably buy an OOMA for about $200 for the telephone and use that coupled with google phone. From what I've read here and some articles that I've googled, it supposedly works great. I have Comcast now for the renters, and I find nothing wrong with it, but I prefer Directv's programming (sports package, 1080p pay per view) and find their picture quality better.
