Saving face? *THIS* government? Remember what I said - we admitted we SHOT DOWN A CIVILIAN AIRLINER.

Here's another clue - for something like that, I, for one AM UNDER OATH to report any coverups that I see - and that goes for EVERYONE in the armed services.

And that "biggest creditor" line? Yeah, right. Think a minute.. Who has whom by the short and curlies? What happens if we decide to default on those T-Bills? The Chinese stand lose a LOT. Think about loan sharks - do they kill the people who owe them hige amounts? Of course not - because they'll never see a dime of what they're owed.

This just doesn't pass the "sniff test" - for one, it was way too easy to explain and people who wouldn't be anywhere near "the conspiracy" were able to figure things out. Remember, that helicopter caught one "angle" that looked like a missile - but there was another angle caught by someone on the coast that CLEARLY showed it looking like a normal (though persistent) contrail.

There's another conspiracy theory out there that the contrails we DO see are actually black-ops personell spraying us with unknown chemicals and that's just as looney.
