Um, no. You can go straight ahead from the right lane as well as the left lane, just as at a regular intersection. I think it is safer to go straight ahead from the right lane so you don't have to worry about the person on the right lane blocking your progress. What you cannot do is go 3/4 of the way around from the right lane. That's like making a left turn from the right lane at an intersection.
