I know what you mean about the recurring roundabout discussions, but. . . Today we were driving west on Stillwater approaching the roundabout at Canal when we saw a car coming around the roundabout heading toward LSL. Then, they stopped in the roundabout and the car behind them had to jam on the brakes to avoid a rearender. On our way back, we were heading east on Stillwater approaching the roundabout at Morse. Because I was going to go north on Morse, I moved into the left lane. The car behind me stayed in the right lane. When traffic cleared, I went around and the car beside be went all the way around to go north on Morse as well. Imagine if I had decided to go straight into Caroline gate!
I don't know why people cannot grasp the concept of the roundabout just being a different design of a regular intersection.
