Doesn't seem to be a problem with parking in the driveway 24/7. I have a very full garage, so my car is always in the driveway. So far, no one has said a word.
I would go the 2-cart/1-car route. You really only need the car if you're leaving TV or if the weather is really vile (too hot, too cold, too wet). If you're like me, you'll even take the cart out in the bad weather (no choice -- someone destroyed the top to my Miata, so really only comfortable in nice weather).
There is guest parking available in the CYVs. Technically, residents aren't supposed to park their cars there, but they do all the time. Two cars in a CYV really are a royal pain in the neck -- one in the garage, one in the driveway or in the guest parking. All the more reason to get rid of a car.
