OOMA and Local phone numbers
First, two updates.
Re Getting an OOMA from Costco. I have now learned that non-members can purchase online, and pay only a 5% surcharge, which I think is very reasonable. For me, the main advantage for purchasing from Costco would be to get the built in blue tooth, which does not seem to be included from other stores.
Re 10MB CenturyLink hi speed in TV
I have had many mixed messages from CL as to what service I can expect in Sunset Pointe, varying from 5 MB to 10 MB, both at the same price. I was even told at one point that I also needed to subscribe to a phone line to get the internet servce. I have now placed an order with them, for internet only, and am told I should be able to get 10MB. I will let you know what speed I do get after I move in on Feb 15th.
I still would like to purchase the OOMA for the phone service, but would like to know what exchange 352-xxx I should pick for it to be a local number to TV. There is a selection for Ocala e.g 547 etc, but I do not know if these are local numbers for TV also. I did post this question separately, but did not get any replies yet, so I would appreciate any input on this question from those of you who are using OOMA in TV.
