Met a couple playing golf at Mallory. She was from Thailand. She HUGELY recommended Thai Ruby - but agreed that Villages spicy is not anywhere near Thai spicy. As one poster mentioned - the spice level is to appeal to patrons who may have restrictions on the amount of spice they can handle. Just ask them to increase the heat and you will be fine. One of my two fav restaurants in TV - agree that the wine list can use improvement. However, as many in TV think Yellow Tail is an excellent wine and that anything priced higher must be a rip off, I understand why the wines there are just OK.
