I am not in the villages yet but have always had the problem with my husbands bath sheet (huge like a big beach towel) drying and throwing it in the dryer twice a day is a pain. It never fully dryed when draped over a towel bar. I sewed fabric loops on two of the corners and we put up robe hooks high on the wall so it would hang straight. Now it drys really fast and hangs close to the wall.
(you could use those 3M command temp hooks if you wanted they are easy to install and pull off if you need to move them) Just a thought.
