I've had OOMA for a couple of years and there was some initial "tweaking" that had to be done. OOMA's support was better than average and they walked me through these nuances.
Incidentally, in addition to a local OOMA assigned number, you may also retain your other number (small admin charge) from another state or region of Florida. I did the latter and also added a second line. I am very pleased with OOMA; but I do use Comcast.
