I had several options, I chose the Eastern half of the US as we don't plan to drive across the country, so it's fine for our purposes. If I were buying again, I would make sure it had all the features I needed, as well as the cords needed to do the update.

Thanks for the info. I was under the impression that any USB cable would do. I have one from my digital camera that I was planning on using. But i will make sure the end fits into the GPS to be sure.

Looks like more research anyway.
