People won't know if you're a resident, a renter, a visitor or an intruder -- rec staff check you in and you do what you want. I'm an avid duplicate bridge player. During rental season, we can be booked solid and, if you're not there early, there's a good chance you won't be playing. Not everyone who plays is a snowbird or a friend of a regular. Many are renters. We welcome them all (being able to play the game helps), regardless of their Villages' status. I think that's true of most activities. So, don't worry about being a renter. Most of us will love having you join us, regardless of the game or event.
Polo season is starting soon, so that should be on your list for your daughter (as you know). Not sure what will be going on in April, but I'm sure someone will have some knowledge.
So, relax, come on down and have fun! (As to the few curmudgeons who will object to you attending an event and taking "their" place, just ignore 'em -- they're few and far between and don't reflect the attitude of most of us.)
