My daughter and her husband will be here some of the time so...my husband and I will have the pass that you pay for (not the guest pass)... since the resident will surrender theirs. We won't have our pass until we get there and last year this prevented us from being able to sign up for Pickleball 101 due to it already being filled up. Of course, I expect to play within the rules....I mean... I know that residents come first; but we don't want to miss out if there is availablity...does anyone have any suggestions re: Pickleball?
Also, what do you residents think of us visitors attending things like....Hand and Foot or other games at the rec center. We attended in the past.... when we were guests of a resident but that is not the case this time. I sure don't want to offend especially if it is meant just for "real" residents. Also how about that Operation Shoebox...is that something we could take part in? We did it with our friend last time...this may be a closed event...not sure.... but it was fun to see all they were doing and we do like to serve.
Would it be acceptable for us to tail gate at the polo fields? or would it be odd since we don't have a group to be with? Just trying to think of things so my daughter could see the charm of the place ...since we are already hooked.
We will need to find the family pool in Hadley since my daughter and her husband are in their 20's.
Does anyone know of any events happening during the time we are there?
If there is anyone else who is visiting that week (April 3-10)and maybe want to hang out at the square or meet for dinner... let me know on this thread or PM.
Here is another thanks to TOTV. We rent from someone we found on TOTV...in Hadley on Ellenton Run....very nice!! Thanks in advance for all your helpful suggestions.

Hi SSmith,
Sounds like you are going to have another great visit. When you rent a home from Villages homeowners, you are using their resident passes. You are considered a resident during your stay and have all the resident privileges. Don't be shy about using them! You are entitled.
This makes perfect sense because the homeowners who rent to you are
not entitled to use their resident passes while you are here.
DDoug: The Villages gets the $50 fee. While there is no doubt a profit involved, this also makes sense to me too, as TV does incur administrative expenses. TV checks the identity of the renters and keeps track of how long they are entitled to use their "rented" passes. That seems necessary to prevent cheating, double-dipping or any unauthorized uses.
