We bought a custom cart May 2010 from Golf Cart Connections. Monday of this week it died. We called them for service because it was still unnder waranty and the phone message said due to the bad economy they had to go out of business after 11 years. The message refered me to Extreme Golf carts for service. Called them and they told me they are only doing waranty repairs the New Freedom carts. I called Ken Spano and when they checked out the cart and found a major manufactoring mistake that caused the controller and motor to burn up. This repair is going to cost us over $1,000 to repair.
After checking out Extreme's phone number, it turns out it is a cell phone number. I would like to know if Connection just changed their name to avoid honoring waranties on their custom carts.
