Dr. Glenn Pieschke
An optometric physician, Dr. Pieschke spent 17 years practicing at the largest tri-ophthalmic practice in the country - Eye Centers of Florida, located in South Florida. He's now proud to be part of the team at Lange Eye Care, where he specializes in contact lenses, ocular diseases, sports vision and surgical co-management.
"I enjoy interacting with patients on a daily basis." he said. "Helping them achieve better vision is why I enjoy my career. The first thing you do when you wake up is open your eyes and before you go to bed you close them. Everything in between is vision."
Dr. Pieschke has served in the Air Force Reserves for 16 years and is now a major. He is currently chief of eye services at Patrick Air Force Base. This military background is beneficial because many of his patients are veterans who reside in the Villages. " We form a natural bond," he said.
