When he gets to Florida, he may want to see a couple of Brokers and ask if they reimburse licensing costs.....It is a 65 hour pre-licensing course, followed by a 45 hour post licensing course within the first 2 years of getting license.
The people working in The Villages office are licensed, but they are not REALTORS(r). There's a difference (ask any Broker for details). Best of luck to him..
