Whatever happened to news organizations reporting facts and letting us decide how to interpret them? Do we really need to be led like a herd of cattle to the conclusion they desire?
I will say this - I despise FOX news. Every time I am in a doctor's office and they have it on (I think it's free to them if they rent from the developer!), I ask them to turn it to CNN. When it was on in Too Jay's at SS, I asked the manager to turn it off. They are the joke in the news industry, especially with their banner of "fair and balanced" - pleeeze! It is way more biased to the right than MSNBC is to the left. I never heard anyone on MSNBC call people "Nazis" like FOX does on a regular basis. Degrees of bias is not the issue, though - it's any bias is too much. And don't get me started on the Daily Sun's right-wing bombardment which I equate to brainwashing. If all you get is one side, people actually start to believe it as fact - it wouldn't be in the newspaper if it weren't true, would it? FOX news couldn't say what they do if it weren't true, could they? Where are Walter Cronkite and Huntley and Brinkley when you need them?
