I was really disappointed in much of the show last night. Scotty chanelling George Strait singing Elton John. Pia impersonating Celine Dion singing Elton John. Paul (who really is Rod Stewart, but with whiter teeth) singing Elton John. Naima masquerading as Ziggy Marley singing Elton John. Etc., etc., etc. How I miss Simon - he would have had a classic night last night . . . . Bottom three should be Naima, Thia and Casey, with the girls probably going out. They all have talent, but I'm sincerely hoping that these niche singers can find a way to break out of their molds and do something interesting next week. So far the show has too many "one trick ponies".
