Your experience is unfortunately for sure.
Seems like they should have been able to accomodate, but I don't know the circumstances of this occasion. Did you make reservations in advance or was your group a walk-in group where your initial place of assigned seating was a problem? I don't know! Anyway, my wife and I both remember there being at least one group of at least 12 that was seated together outdoors. So I would think that a lack of reservations and a sudden request may have been an influencing factor in your experience. Of course I could be wrong, but either way there are always two sides to a situation... what is seemingly apparant and what may not be readily apparent!
