My 14 yr old ruler of the home(cat) had started limping. We went to the vet and she put us on Cosequin. One capsule twice a day mixed in his food. The change has been remarkable. No more limping and more jumping than he had been doing. The vet said that she gives it to her healthy dogs and suggests it to her patients. It certainly worked for us. Only I purchase it from Amazon for about half price. I hope this is helpful. Herb
