We had Comcast installed in January shortly after closing on our home. We have basic channels and have been completely satisfied since. We did not go beyond basic since our time in TV was limited and have gone on vacation mode now.

Sounds like you're correct about Xfinity. We are able to use any of the several outlets in our home. It sounds like they're getting pretty much like Time Warner which we have in NY and love.

BTW, there were a bit more than a few channels in basic. I was quite surprised on how many! However, we will be getting the HD box so we have advanced features when we return.
