BlueHeron: I'm not sure I understand where you're coming from. Non-resident aliens can get in the military, but certainly CANNOT become President.

The point I was making was that, in an effort to eliminate future controversies over Presidential eligibility, the bill, as written, would have made it possible to be on the ballot for President while being ineligible for a U.S. Passport (i.e. baptismal or circumcision records being accepted).
