We also had some very negative and expensive experiences with some of the local handymen recommended on TOTV.
But I can highly recommend Bernie of B&B III. He installed attic stairs and flooring and also a garage keypad for us. He showed up when he said he would did an excellent job and cleaned up the mess. It cost less for him to install the keypad that he provided then it did to buy one and install it ourselves. When we need work done on our house that we can't or don't want to do ourselves we will call Bernie and his son.
