This is the first time I have read about snakes in the house. Those gekkos do sneak in from time to time, people say that. In three years we have found one gekko and we leave out sliders open in nice weather.
I understand your feelings. It is not a big problem, believe me.

Whew.........especially if one is going to live near the water. Snakes....and swimdawgs do not get along.
