Very sad, but sadly expected.
Without getting too religious, the Bible clearly says that those who bless Israel will be blessed by God. Not a smart move on our part.

Even if you do not believe that, Israel has been a good friend and ally. We can learn a lot from them. They have a right to exist and they are surrounded by those bent on their demise. Both sides have done wrong at times, but Israel is a small country surrounded by those wanting to destroy them. Imagine living like that........
