Quite a process - and for those who definitely want a new home - well worth the process.

When I moved to The Villages in October, 2009, I really wanted to be in my new house in Florida before January 1, 2010, so I would not be paying anymore Maryland taxes. Therefore, I could not wait for a new home to be built. The re-sale market was perfect for me. I used both a Villages agent and an outside agent so I could see both Villages and MLS listings; found the perfect home; and was in it by October (about 45 days after signing the contract); and my Maryland home was sold in 8 days.

Welcome to The Villages. It is a great lifestyle. Whatever processes you have to go through, it is well worth it to finally be in this slice of Heaven.
